The Jubilee
My dear Mother,
I was surprised to hear that Archie had taken up Baby Hatton as his mate. We had a splendid Jubilee. There was a fete in Victoria park, and the tightrope walking, the man had refreshments in the middle of the rope. I went on the roundabouts and enjoyed it very much. I also went to the dog show and saw the biggest dog in the world and earlier in the morning was a great many soldiers marching.
Swansea market was opened in the morning by the Mayor, I was there at the time. So you see I enjoyed myself very much on Jubilee day.
I am glad that Jennie took part in the procession . My watch is all wrong.
